Power Management

Electronic power solutions for specialist vehicles

Power distribution, multiplexed control and battery management for the vehicles that carry serious electrical loads. Engineered and assembled in the UK by our group company Intellitec MV.

Power management, built for hard-working vehicles

A specialist vehicle carries far more electrical load than a standard car: lighting, pumps, screens, communications, refrigeration and more. Managing that power reliably takes more than relays and fuses. It takes a system.

The Scorpion Group delivers electronic power solutions through Intellitec MV, our UK power-management company. Power distribution modules, multiplexed control and battery management, designed and assembled in Britain for the emergency, passenger, leisure and marine sectors.

What we do

From a single module to a whole system

Replace a loom of relays and fuses with digital switching that is lighter, monitored and easier to maintain.

Power distribution modules

Switch and protect the electrical loads on a vehicle digitally, replacing banks of relays and fuses with a controlled, monitored module.

Multiplexed wiring and control

Run control and power over a network instead of a heavy loom, so a complex build is lighter, tidier and easier to fault-find.

Battery management and DC-DC

Protect the starter battery, manage auxiliary power, and convert between voltages for the equipment a specialist vehicle carries.

Load shedding and monitoring

Shed non-essential loads to protect the battery, and keep an eye on the electrical system while the vehicle works.

Made in Britain

Engineered and assembled in the UK

Intellitec MV designs and assembles its power products in the UK, working to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 and with Vehicle Certification Agency approval. For vehicle builders and OEMs, that means power management held to the standards the industry expects.

It also sits naturally alongside the group's CAN bus and vehicle electronics work, so power, control and signal can be engineered together on a specialist build.
