It defends against key clone attacks: a unique custom pin, created via the vehicle’s buttons or dash, or a driver tag, is needed to disarm the immobiliser and start the ignition again.
Key relay defence
The X-Series prevents key relay theft, where a criminal picks up the signal from your car key and uses a transmitter to make your car believe the key is present. The custom pin stops thieves getting away with your vehicle, as it must be entered to start the ignition.
Personal security
The X-Series uses a combination of buttons and switches in your car to enable and disable the immobiliser. Choose any combination of controls, making it unique to you and your vehicle.

What is key relay theft?
A relay attack usually involves two people working together. One stands by the targeted keyless vehicle, while the other stands near the house with a device that picks up a signal from the key fob. This tricks the vehicle into thinking the fob is present, and can let thieves get away in as little as 30 seconds.
